Meet the 2018 Engage Awards finalists

Engage Business Media’s 2018 Engage Awards programme has broken records across the board with more categories, more finalists, and more entries deliberated over by more judges than ever before.

For this year’s competition EBM are delighted to announce that we have a record number of deserving Engage Awards finalists across 19 categories selected by our esteemed panel of 21 judges.

The Engage Awards winners will be announced less than two months from now at our glittering black-tie Awards ceremony to be held at the iconic Westminster Bridge Park Plaza Hotel in Central London on the evening of Monday November 12th.

Our Engage Awards host for 2018 will be major British comedy talent, writer, actor, presenter and performer Marcus Brigstoke. The Telegraph describe Marcus as ‘a rare stand-up who makes you laugh and think.’

After hanging up his crown as King Arthur in Spamalot, Marcus is now back on Radio 4 as the friendly and ‘engaging’ questioner on ‘I’ve Never Seen Star Wars’ and in Radio 4’s ‘Brig Society’.

It’s been said that Marcus is heard on Radio 4 more frequently than the shipping forecast. And on November 12 he will be seen as well as heard as our compere at the 2018 Engage Awards ceremony.

The Engage Awards ceremony will once again run in tandem with EBM’s flagship Customer Engagement Summit, firmly established as Europe’s premier Customer and Employee Engagement event.

The Customer Engagement Summit is to be held for the first time over two days also at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza, on November Monday November 12 and Tuesday November 13. The overarching theme of this years’ Summit is ‘The Human Face of Engagement: Why People Come First’.

Steve Hurst, Editorial Director at EBM and Chair of the Engage Awards judges, says: “Feedback from our judges on what is the only customer and employee engagement Awards programme has been incredibly positive with them reporting the overall standard of entries at a record high. The 19 winners that we announce on November 12th, and indeed all of our Engage Awards finalists, can all be genuinely proud of their achievements.”
